Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering with Love of Little Horses and A Little Magic is both fun and rewarding. If you love horses this is a great way to enjoy them while you help others. Must be over 16 and live a reasonable distance from Warrenton, Culpeper, Orange and Madison.
Therapy Teams Assistant: People needed to assist a therapy team on a visit to a facility. Visits usually last no more than an hour. No need for any special abilities or horse experience. We will teach you how to assist the team.
Or, train to become your own Therapy Team. We will help you through the process of becoming your own team with your miniature horse under "A Little Magic". Don't have a mini horse?? You can train with one of ours and become a therapy team with one of them.
Don't like working with horses but want to help us with our mission? Consider other needs below:
Photographer: Need not be a professional. Just someone who is good at and enjoys taking pictures. Also needs to be able to upload and send pictures on computer. Knowledge of photo editing helpful.
Public Relations and Marketing: Knowledge of marketing, advertising, and and public relations. Able to help inform the community about volunteer opportunities, special events, therapy opportunities etc.
Fundraiser: Knowledgeable person to head up fundraising for A Little Magic/Love of Little Horses. Help to organize an event as well as encourage donations and sponsorships.
